I stayed here for four nights. The location is excellent, close to Hyde Park and the Queensway Underground station, making it easy to get around London. Unfortunately, my experience was let down by an issue with the room. On my first night, the air conditioning wasn’t working during the middle of a heat wave. I was told there were no other rooms available until the following day and was offered a complimentary buffet breakfast as compensation. Personally, I didn’t feel that adequately made up for the situation. I had booked and paid for a room with air conditioning, but instead spent my first night in an uncomfortably hot room and only managed a few hours of restless sleep. What disappointed me most was later learning that the hotel already knew the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working before assigning it to me, and this wasn’t disclosed at check-in. I also found out that other guests had been affected by the same issue. Had they been upfront about it, I would have appreciated the honesty and been able to make an informed decision.

Der er meget lydt! Man kan høre når etagen over er i bad/trækker i toilettet eller går rundt i værelset midt på natten. Døren ud til gangen går ikk ned til gulvet, så man kan høre alt og man kom i tvivl om døren overhovedet var lukket.

Utmärkt städning - ett extra plus för det. Rummet blev städat medan vi åt frukost! Frukosten var dock ett problem. Kön ringlade sig lång, och i rummet där man hämtar sin frukost var det kaos. Det här skulle enkelt kunna lösas genom att gästerna bokar sin frukosttid, vilket är vanligt på många hotell numera. Vårt rum låg högst upp och precis bredvid Leinster Gardens fuskhus som bara är en fasad eftersom tågen dundrar igenom i det fria just där. Det där är i och för sig riktigt spännande och intressant, men det innebär samtidigt att man hör tågen dundra förbi dygnet runt och i princip hela tiden. Bortsett med tågen och frukostkaoset var vi mycket nöjda med vårt boende. Vi återkommer alltid till Blakemore Hyde Park när vi reser till London och uppskattar både hotellet och dess närhet till Hyde Park.

A well located hotel with nice-sized rooms that were clean. Unfortunately there were a couple of maintenance issues that we had to report. The water in shower was very hot (almost to the point of scalding) and we could not turn it down. There was also a sign cautioning guests to be careful with water use due to potenital flooding in rooms below (potential 200 pound fine). This was fine, but there was grout missing from tiles on the shower wall and the floor which would exacerbate any such problems. There was also a leak in the bidet hose. We passed this information on to reception staff at check out.
