Excellent as a base for exploring London

We stayed for 2 nights - the hotel is great as a base for going into London as it is close to 3 Tube stations. It is a little dated - but was clean with a good breakfast and helpful staff. In all - good value for money

Good value for money

All as expected - clean comfortable well equipped room. As noted in other reviews, noise could be heard from adjoining rooms through the night. Also strong smell of indian cuisine is in the ground floor communal areas but not in the sleeping areas, so not an issue. On the whole, very good value for money

Comfy bed, shame about the wi-fi.

The hotel is past its sell-by date and I was told by a member of staff it wis soon to close down. A pity, because it's in a good location - little traffic or other noise, yet only a few minutes' walk from the centre of town - and the room itself was fine, if dated. Connecting to the hotal's wi-fi set off every alarm going on my laptop's anti-virus, so I didn't make use of it, and the bathroom sink took ages to drain. But the bed was one of the comfiest I can recall in any hotel I've ever slept in. I didn't make any use of the bar or dining facilities so can't comment on them.

Very old hotel, my room smelt of cigarratte. Apparently previous occupier must have smoked in the room. I guess they have no smoke detectors.my room Was so cold on arrival! No one bothered to heat up the room before I got in. Breakfast was good though. The hotel has got no lift. Not very easy moving suitcases at all. But the guys at reception were helpful. They helped with my moving my box on arrival and departure.

Never again not recommend

Stay was awful has to change my room very old springy mattress no lift very difficult to take up luggage second room no cold water also had rusty taps restaurant never open but had a good breakfast and the staff are friendly

Tatty, out of date and tired hotel

Staff were good but that is as good as it gets. Tatty, rickety and dirty hallways. Room bathroom has so many cracked tiles I lost count. Room was like a sauna and aircon did nothing except make loud noises. Breakfast a greasy bland affair. I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice Hotel, Close to The University

First of all, be aware that US travelers should always subtract one star for European hotels... for example this "three star" hotel would almost certainly only rate two in the states. This is not the "cookie cutter" type of Comfort Inn you'd find in America, but rather a more traditional every room is different sort. I booked this hotel for six nights recently primarily for it's proximity to the University of Westminster at Harrow campus. My daughter is studying there this term. It's worn, and very tired looking but everything is clean and pretty much serviceable. I'd recommend you not allow them to put you in a room in the annex, tiny rooms and no WiFi. Make sure they put you in the main building. (Which is what I did after the first night) There are no lifts, so if you've got trouble with stairs, call ahead for a ground floor room. There's a bar with a nice choice of beer and wine, open daily, but I was never quite sure of it's operating hours. The onsite restaurant offers an English Breakfast buffet daily for an extra charge. (£7.95/day) Other times vary as there are often functions there. WiFi is an extra charge (£5/day) but it was generally reliable once I was in the main building. It's walking distance (10-15 minutes) to the Northwick Park train station. Wembly stadium is two stops away and central London is about 30 minutes. There's a free car park if you're driving but it's small. The staff were attentive and helpful.

Comfort Harrow - Cheap & perfect for London Centre

The Comfort Harrow is a little tired, but perfect for a cheap stay for Central London. Close to the Metropolitan line which is the fastest run into Baker St. Staff are brilliant. Rooms are always warm & clean. 7th stay for us. If you are after a comfortable few nights cheap stay it will be hard to beat, free car park , tube near by works for us !

If your staying more than 1 night and want to spend a lot of time at the hotel this isn't the one for you. Very old room, rusty taps, smelly bathrooms, no heating control

Posto tranquillo abbastanza vicino all'underground

Albergo nella media, abbastanza pulito per gli standard di questa fascia, silenzioso ed abbastanza vicino alla fermata Northwick Park della Metropolitan Line che porta in pieno centro (Baker Street). Stanza doppia di dimensioni soddisfacenti, bagno però un po' piccolino; bollitore in camera, ma con una scelta di tè e caffè solubili un po' limitata (anche poche bustine di zucchero). Il WiFi purtroppo è a pagamento giornaliero, a parte un'ora che viene data gratis al check in, e questo considerando la politica ormai di quasi tutti gli alberghi è un minus...inoltre se capita la stanza un po' lontana dal blocco centrale la ricezione non è ottimale e quindi la velocità ne risente. Ottimo comunque il rapporto qualità/prezzo, e se lo scopo è solo trovare una base comoda e pulita per esplorare Londra o per andare a trovare figli che studiano alla adiacente Università di Westminster (Harrow Campus), va sicuramente benissimo.

Good value for money. Room was 'tired' and in need of updating. Close to tube station for access to London. Lounge area pleasant and decent breakfast

Hotels sans ascenseurs. La vue ville etait plutot une vue sur le toit de lhotel. Probleme de chasse deau. Fuite en jet deau du robinet de la salle de bain repare grossierement a notre demande. On entend tout ce qui se passe dans la chambre voisine. Ne vaut pas un 3etoiles. Prix trop eleve

A great stay....

I chose this hotel for our stay because we knew it was quiet, comfortable, clean and above all friendly. We did go out to eat, so I can't rate the food but in everything else we are very happy with the service and will definitely be coming here again.

Not the best hotel - needs decorating etc, but its ok for a base to travel into Central London with the tube station not too far away.

Nice hotel

Although other reviews about this hotel don't give it a very good name, I thought it was fairly good for the price. The staff were helpful, the room was in a good state of repair and the breakfast was as good as more expensive hotels. I'll be there again if I'm in the area.

Do not stay at this hotel

Police incident during my stay. Although this is not the fault of the hotel the way in which this was managed was hazy and unacceptable in a hotel that clearly needs investment into not only staff training but also fittings, decor etc.
