I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that others should be aware.
On arrival, the check-in staff member was friendly and welcoming, which initially gave us some confidence. Unfortunately, that was where the positives ended. The room itself was clearly not cleaned to an acceptable standard — surfaces felt neglected and the overall condition was far below what you would reasonably expect.
The bathroom was particularly concerning, with a persistent sewage smell that made it unpleasant to use. On top of that, the hallway outside had a noticeable smell of marijuana, which only added to the sense that the property was not being properly managed.
When we raised these issues and asked to change rooms, communication effectively stopped. What began as a responsive front desk experience quickly turned into being ignored, with no meaningful attempt to resolve the situation.
Ultimately, we felt we had no choice but to leave early and find alternative accommodation at our own expense.
This was a disappointing and frustrating experience. Basic cleanliness, responsive service, and a safe, comfortable environment are not unreasonable expectations — and unfortunately, this hotel failed on all three.
