"we loved our room. It was clean and very close to Mt. Rainier. The girl at the front desk offered us our breakfast for tomorrow ,with out us even asking and it was good. We left at 5:30 am for our hike around Mt. Rainier. We did the skyline trail and it was easier than I thought it would be. Beautiful views, saw two mtn goats, a bunch of Marmots, a pica and some ptarmigans.it wasn't crowded until around 9:30. So go early plus the light is better."

"The location is convenient for visiting Mt. St. Helens backcountry. No comment on the staff, because there was zero interaction with any human. The reservation stated that all communication would be by automated text message, which concerned me because I would be out of phone range for most of my trip. Expedia's confirmation email included a phone number to contact the property, but that number led to a generic automated message with no identifying information and "mailbox is full." But the system did work; I got the text with entry code once I came within communication range shortly before arrival, and the room was good enough for my needs. Slightly humorous that the welcome message said I could get a discount at the Speakeasy next door, except that the Speakeasy was closed during my stay."
