"we stayed there a few years ago so thought it would be good. alas it's is no longer well maintained. it's definitely in decline. no information about the restaurant side. when o left to go out o had to use the side door as there was a key pad to main door but no information on what number to use"

"We enjoyed our overnight stay at the weathervane. It was very good value for the money it cost. We had the breakfast included option and we're glad we did. The staff were very helpful indeed. We decided to have our evening meal there as well. We both really enjoyed the food which was cooked perfectly and the prices were very much cheaper than we pay in Essex."

"From check in to check out.I had a lovely stay. The hotel is really nice.I had an amazing sleep while there. The beds are very comfy. The breakfast on offer was really good, with cooked available. It was nice having a proper coffee maker at breakfast, so able to choose what you like.I would definitely stay again if in the area"
