"We stayed in a room in the new villa section, and it was wonderful. Lots of space, quiet and with great natural light. The bed was very comfortable. Housekeeping was spotless. The hotel is in a great location with easy walking to main sights or very convenient access to public transport. We were worried that it would be noisy being close to the trains and trams, but we found it peaceful. Lots of good restaurants in easy walking distance or a short tram ride away, and the hotel bar is a pleasant place to relax. We stayed in Basel for four nights at the end of spring and there was stacks to do - cycling, walking, dining, museums, galleries, bars, music."
