I liked the people at counter; night and morning they were very attentive. The only thing I would suggest is for staff to check suites’ dishwasher and stove to make sure they’re off before another guest stays in the room, the dishwasher kept beeping at nite til we figured out how to turn off.

My room did not have a tv remote control and I couldn't get one due to arriving at the hotel after 8pm. The room is not sound proof like how it was advertised on the website so if you have energetic little ones, I suggest staying on the first floor to avoid complaints. Breakfast was okay. The room was decent with a good size kitchen.

Clean room! Ours had a sofa sleeper, kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, two Queen beds, and a separate sink from the bathroom. It also has a basketball hoop. Breakfast had eggs, bacon, fruit, waffle maker, juices, bagels, premade breakfast sandwiches, and plenty of places to sit down and eat. Free parking and an easy 10 minute drive to Magic Mountain. We'll stay here again!

First of all, my overall impression of this hotel was that it was clean. Everything was clean and smelled clean in the rooms, in the vestibule, and in the hallways. There was one exception to this. While we were there, a guest took their dog out to do its business on the grass. We were there for three nights, but no grounds crew ever cleaned it up. It may have been a simple oversight on their part; but it was a little gross, walking past it every day on the way to and from our room. I'm sure if I had spoken up, though, they would have addressed it right away because they were quite professional and clean overall. The pool was nice. It was clean, spacious, and had plenty of places to lounge. It also had a very relaxing hot tub that we made sure to use. The room was very clean, and the cleaning crew came by when we were gone one day and restocked our towels and made our beds. That was very nice! Finally, the crowning jewel of this hotel was its breakfast buffet. They had so many yummy (and healthy) choices -- along with plenty of seating. Their breakfast went from 6:30 - 9:30 AM; so, whether you're an early riser or choose to sleep in a little bit, there were still plenty of fresh breakfast options for you. My family and I would highly recommend!

This is a great place to stay in the Santa Clarita area! The only difficulties we encountered were over the weekend, when the breakfast staff changed and the hotel was overrun by children who were not watched over by parents. This Residence Inn has no rules about children--some as young as 8--running into the fitness area and jumping all over the equipment, which not only disrupts other patrons, but could cause injuries. On Sunday morning, the pool deck was also littered with beer cans, champagne corks, and pizza crusts. Finally, over the weekend the WiFi was so overburdened that it was hard to get a connection. Bottom line: Residence Inn Santa Clarita is wonderful, but mainly on weekdays.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location. Competent and friendly staff. Quiet clean room. We usually are disappointed in free hotel breakfast offerings but we were really pleased with the variety and quality of the food. We travel this way often and will definitely return.

The maid service is only Monday, Wednesday, Friday, so you have to request clean towels at the front desk on off days. The fireplace in our room did not work, maintenance was called but never came, and the bed mattresses were hard, causing back pain in the morning.
