"- The appartment is too far from varenna (you have to walk 30mn on the cliff to reach varenna which is dangerous) and the transport is not really available there, so we had to take taxis (this costed us around 30Euros per day and limited our flexibility as taxis are really rare especially at night) , if you want to visit varenna pay more and prefer an appartment in varenna than perledo - we didn't see the host, he wasn't there in the check-in nor in the check-out... we left cleaning fees on the...

"The hotel was lovely as were the staff. The breakfast was lovely, I ate in the wonderful outdoor bar. I also ate dinner in the restaurant and that was good too. Great facilities, very clean and beautiful rooms. The location directly around the hotel doesn’t have much to offer, but there are plenty of great places to visit within a 10 to 15 minute drive. And of course the train station is next door."

"Lovely boutique hotel. Great views and the rooms was very nice. The staff was kind and helpful, really easy going and happy to help with anything. The breakfast in the morning was nice, especially the freshly pressed orange juice and home made daily cake! I would definitely stay there again, location wise it was also very good as it was less than 10min to train station and less than 15min to the ferry station."

"We had a fantastic stay at Parco San Marco and would definitely recommend it. The food was great and the service from the staff was warm, attentive, and professional. One of the highlights of our stay was the adults-only pool, which was peaceful, quiet, and the perfect place to relax. Our only criticism is that transportation can be challenging. The resort does not offer a shuttle service, and finding taxis or other transportation options was more difficult than expected. If you plan to explore the surrounding area, renting a car is probably your best option. Overall, the beautiful property, exceptional food, and outstanding service made for a wonderful stay. We would absolutely return."

"I have to first start saying that Matteo, was very resourceful and helpful. When I we arrived one of our rooms was super stinky, 😭 I mean smell awful. Once I communicated with the staff (by Whatsapp) he was able to change our room. The hotel is very convenient located to the train station and the ferry. Other than that.. great stay"

"I had an amazing stay at Hotel Villa Cipressi in Varenna on Lake Como. The hotel is beautiful, with lovely gardens and incredible views over the lake that made the whole visit feel very special. I chose Villa Cipressi as the place to propose to my fiancé, and it was the perfect setting. The grounds are peaceful and romantic, with plenty of spots to sit, relax, and enjoy the scenery, and every time we looked around we felt lucky to be there. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. They were always friendly, welcoming, and professional, and they went out of their way to help me plan my trip and organize my proposal. They offered suggestions, helped with the itinerary, and were very supportive at every step, which made a big moment in our lives feel easy and enjoyable. Our room was comfortable and clean, and waking up to the view of the lake and mountains each morning was unforgettable. Breakfast was generous and tasty, and we loved being able to start the day looking out over the water in such a calm setting. The location is great as well. It’s a short walk to the town center, the waterfront, and the ferry, so it’s easy to explore Lake Como while still feeling like you’re in a quiet, relaxing spot. Overall, I’m very grateful I chose Villa Cipressi for such an important occasion. The combination of the beautiful property, stunning views, and exceptionally kind and helpful staff made our stay truly memorable. I would highly recommend Hotel Villa Cipressi to anyone!"

"We arrived at 5 pm. Although check in was at 3 we still had to wait for our room to be ready. The property was beautiful. There was a piano player outdoors in the evening that was fantastic. Location was great. Beds very comfortable. Think the service could have been better at breakfast. Never received requested 2nd cup of coffee."

"Great location for travelling through the area with good free parking immediately outside. Complementary coffee, water and cake in reception is a nice touch. Very close to a good service station with associated restaurant serving a nice rangebof meals at reasonable prices. The only issue ue we have is that the pillows in the bedrooms are not the most comfortable."
