This is a charming bed and breakfast. Anmenities are high end, so is the service. We stayed in a room circa 1752. The bedding however was more recent and very luxurious. The grounds are impeccable, with flowers and trimmed hedges everywhere. There are fields and even a little nature trail in the woods on the property. Very nice Hotel ,well situated with plenty of dining opportunities very close by. My two complaints are the pillows are so small and so soft that they were useless and the bathtub is very slippery. We mentioned about the bathtub at checkout and were told all we had to do was ask and we would have been given a bath mat. So I'm ready to take a shower and now and I'm going to walk downstairs to get a mat for the shower. It should be in the room ready to use.

Had a fantastic stay with my family. There aren't many places that can comfortably accomodate a party of 6 (ages toddler through adult) while including a list of activities and amenities for under $200 a night. Our 2 bedroom/1 bath cabin was well appointed with a eat in kitchen where we cooked quite a few meals, gas grill/picnic table on the deck, queen bed/tv in one room, 2 twin beds in the other, pull-out sofa in the den. Beautiful lobby and great pools.

All I can tell you, I will stay here any and every time I’m in Charlottesville. I’ve stayed here three times in less than a year (first time was during its first week open) and each time is fantastic. The front desk staff are great and I LOVE the bartenders (Eric, Douglas, and Cicely (sp?). Until next time!

The room was great - king bed, nice bathroom, small kitchen with large fridge, toaster, stove - everything we needed to comfortably eat breakfast and snacks in our room (since it's Covid and don't want to eat in public). And free parking in downtown was great!

We were only overnight, but we were really pleased with the cleanliness of the room. Breakfast was excellent with a variety of hot and cold dishes. We really liked the fresh fruit offering. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

This is a brand new property and very clean. We had a larger suite with the small pull out sofa. Overall we are a family of five and I always notice the size of a room and this one was on the larger size. If you have younger children they would have room to play on the floor. The beds and pillows were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked with kitchenware.

The decor was of the times if visiting Monticello, etc. with excellent location to historical sites and the service was great. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was top notch!!!...even had french toast with perfectly cooked bacon😍...Will definitely stay there again❣️
