"I had stayed with friends in Luz St Saveur in 2015 but this time returned on my own to explore a bit more. The Val d’Azun in which Aucun sits is stunning and quiet. Great access to a number of walks and rides and not too far to more popular areas. There is no bar or shop in Aucun but Arrens is only 5-10 mins drive up the road. "Lovely quaint chalet, with fantastic views and lovely garden to sit in. The chalet was well equipped and very comfortable. We had two weeks of great cycling. Great spot to access all the great climbs."

A savoir: Les premiers commerce (boulangerie) sont a 15km, il faut anticiper si on ne veut pas bouger en voiture chaque jour. Mais c'est aussi ce qui fait le charme du gite, au milieu de rien! "Restored farm house in the countryside in a farming area at the foot of the Pyrennees, very quiet and surrounded by farming area, saw a fox, many birds of prey, and some deer. Close to golf courses and famous TdF cycling routes (about 15 minutes by car). Wifi works well, hosts were very friendly and helpful. About 15 minutes from shops, restaurants etc. we enjoyed our stay, far away from the crazy world!"

"Nous avons passé 4 semaines dans cet hébergement afin de visiter la vallée d'Ossau. L'hébergement est très grand, très confortable, dans une très belle ancienne maison béarnaise. Les commerces sont à dix minutes en voiture et le gave d'Ossau est à 5 mn à pieds, permettant aux enfants de se baigner sans danger."

"Nous avons passés une semaine très agréable dans le logement de Keith et Kate, la maison est très confortable et vraiment bien équipée. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié le jardin fleuri et la piscine bien évidemment. Keith et Kate sont très accueillants et disponibles si besoin tout en restant discrets. Nous souhaitions des vacances au calme dans un bel endroit et c’est exactement ce que nous avons trouvé."

"Very nice English influenced clean house. Big garden with all the privacy. Private parking just next to the house. We had very nice chats with the owner. Because of a bit rainy weather sometimes we didn't use the swimming pool much, but the pool was very big and nice to swim in. Thanks Chris and Gill for this lovely week!"

"The apartment was beautiful—exactly like the pictures shown. The whole apartment is modern with very nice kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen has everything you’ll need for cooking—pots and pans, dishes, utensils, etc. Our hosts, John Luc and Cathie were wonderful. They live on the property in a separate house but give you all the privacy you need. If we had a problem on how to work something, JL would respond immediately and come help us. We told him we’re interested in checking out the Pau area...
