"If I could rate it a million stars, I would! This is the perfect, peaceful quiet Portuguese experience. We stayed here because it was close to the wedding venue we were attending. The staff were all so kind and helpful, the pool was the perfect cool temperature with plenty of lounge set for everyone, and the grounds were gorgeous. You can hear chickens and church bells, walked on the cobblestone, and it was very relaxing. There's even a little chapel that I degree not taking photographs of...

"Charming hotel in the heart of the old town. Fernanda was so kind and welcoming upon our arrival after we’d had a stressful day. Breakfast could be improved upon, the omelette was average. Room was comfortable for our 1 night stay."

"Amazing hotel, very clean, really lovely staff!"

"very dirty and smells we had to changed the room"

"Huge room with great windows. Old/tired fixtures throughout. Coffee setup was cool."

"Me encantó el hotel Excelente ubicación Desayuno delicioso Áreas sociales muy padres"

"The buffet breakfast was convenient as it was available for the early risers. Most restaurants in the area do not open till later (some at 10:00am). There was a good variey of pastries, fruits, meats, cheese, juice, tea, coffee and eggs, and omelets upon request. Also the price per person is comparable to other resstaurants but difference is all-you-can-eat versus ala carte pricing. We were overall satisfied with the choices and staff was willing to assist with requests."

"The room was super comfortable, and the staff provided excellent service. The hotel has a wonderful atmosphere and an excellent location, within easy walking distance of Porto’s city center. Overall, a great experience!"

"This hotel was wonderful. We were greeted with welcome wine and the gentleman who checked us in was very polite and informative. The room was big and clean. The view was AMAZING.Definitely recommend this hotel. In a great location too."

"Arrived late evening so took a day to get used to the low lighting and touch button settings. The only downside was the pullout toiletpaper that made me nervous of each pullout being the very last piece of paper, at crucial times."

"Only objection was that they now charge for the shuttle service to the airport."
