"I can’t say enough about the concierge team! They were able to arrange transfers, boat excursion, taxi…anything we needed with just an email. It was all arranged prior to arrival and was perfect. The afternoon terrace lunches were delicious, especially the gin and tonic experience. And the housekeeping staff exceptional. We had a beautiful room, and I would 100% stay here again if we return to Lake Como"

"The location of this hotel is perfect. Beautiful views, small and quaint. Staff was always helpful. The only thing we were disappointed with was the two restaurants. The hotel has such a prime location and there restraunts should be packed but the menu is very limited and night time dining is under really bright neon lights. Such great potential being missed We would go back though."

"Excellent place to stay in Varenna. We would definitely rebook this property. Perfect central location between the train station and the ferries, close to a local café and small grocery market. Even though our room was on top of a bar, there was no noise after 10 pm. The apartment was clean and communications with the host was excellent- they were responsive. Highly recommend. "

"Well-located, comfortable, and perfectly clean apartment in the very charming town of Varenna, with an un-matched view of Lake Como and very responsive hosts. Stayed with 17 year old son and my husband for 4 nights in July. The apartment was authentic, the air conditioning worked well and while we didn't do any real cooking, the kitchen seemed to have everything you would need. Hosts were helpful with recommendations and advice during and leading up to our trip and had a bottle of sparkling wine waiting for us. Lovely place. The only surprise was the request for a small "municipality tax" that VRBO does not collect that we had to pay directly to the hosts at the end of our stay, but this was also requested at the other places we stayed in Italy and we confirmed it's legitimacy elsewhere. That said, it would have been good to know this ahead of time."

"Location was terrific. Easy walk to great swimming, restaurants, shops…There was no AC-this was the most difficult for us but it may have been something we took for granted. Next time, we will definitely look for a place with AC if we visit during the summer. It was difficult even to sleep at night with all the windows open and fans blowing directly on us…There were also a few things either overlooked by the management or I would consider including: an extra set of towels (one for bathing and the other for swimming), hand soap at every sink. Otherwise, the space was very spacious and our family had a great time."
