"We had stayed at the location nine days earlier, which tells you something about the acceptability of the motel. However, this time we had two problems. We checked in at 10:00 p.m. after a long drive from Los Angeles. The A/C was off, so the room was warm. The A/C seemed to work at first, but the compressor would switch off before it had adequately cooled off the room. It would do this off and on until after we went to bed. We considered asking to change rooms, but it was late and we were tired. Sometime during the night the A/C corrected itself and we woke up to a nicely-cooled room, what we expected in the first place. I reported the problem to the desk clerk anyway. The other problem was that the WIFI reception was very week. Once again, it was late and I didn't fool with it. Otherwise, we had another great breakfast and were on our way back to Texas by 7:00 a.m. We were at the motel only 9 hours."
