"The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location. The walk-in shower was lovely. The bed was comfortable. The air-conditioning worked well. The room was a good size. It would be good to have more hangers in the wardrobe. There wasn't a safe in the room. The breakfast was nice. The rooftop bar was great and a really nice place for us all to meet for drinks before we went out for dinner. I would definitely stay here again for the price we paid. "

"We were upgraded to a corner room with an oversized balcony looking out over the pool to the river. Spacious room, quiet, plenty of shelf and drawer space. The staff were amazing, Portuguese-friendly. Breakfast was very nice, with lots of hot and cold options including an omelet station. Location was very walkable to the Old Town, and also to the opposite side of the river and the Santa Clara monastery, plus walkways on both sides of the river."

"Really cool little hotel (16 room) in the center on Coimbra. Rooms are all very well decorated. Breakfast in good quality. In the middle of most of the sights and restaurants - the university is at the top of the hill which is a “challenging” walk. Only issue was the reception - not always somebody there for checkin and door is locked. "

"Great stay and great location. Staff were warm and friendly. I did not have a chance to visit some local restaurants because of all the steps and steep hills but, luckily for me and my family, the onsite restaurant was A+. Delicious food offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. This is the place to stay at in Coimbra."

"Location was excellent although a bit noisy beside the buses. Rooms were large and comfortable. Breakfast was okay but food stations ran out from time to time."

"Beautiful and unique place to stay. It’s like you back in time. Room was clean, stuff is helpful and professional. Bed wasn’t very comfy and it’s a little warm inside. There is no AC or a fan. Also there is no WiFi in the room only in the bar area of the hotel. Breakfast however was really good. For dinner we drove 10 minutes away to a nearby village. Restaurant at the hotel was too expensive for us. Overall I say it’s definitely worth visiting "
