"Hotel is very typical of Amsterdam hotels. Small rooms. Steep stairs. Tiny beds. Quirky. I’m an animal lover but there is a pet cat that seems to have become a celebrity. They sell cat merchandise and allow him everywhere, including on the sides in the kitchen. On our first morning, we were eating our breakfast and it was great, until the cat threw up near where we were eating. He was licking the pipe to coffee machine for a drink. Had his head in the cupboards and jumped up on the sides in the kitchen. We couldn’t bring ourselves to eat there again after that. The staff were excellent. I’d stay there again but would eat out lol. "
