"Kitchen / diner area is a great space but the house is tired with walls missing paint, garden overgrown, most of the toilets have temperamental flushes and it doesn’t sleep ten as suggested. 9 people max which was a surprise when we arrived as a booking of ten. Owners did accommodate extra bedding when informed and the property is clean with good bedding and towels. "

"We had a great weekend at 26 Howells mere. The accommodation was lovely, we particularly liked the large living area on the middle floor. The kitchen was very well equipped.The location is great for walking and running. The on site pool was very clean and great for all the family. The riffle shooting locally I would also recommend."

"We had a lovely 5 day break at this fabulous property overlooking Howells mere lake. The property was high end and very comfortable throughout. The kitchen was well stocked to meet all our needs. We enjoyed it that much that we booked to return in September. Highly recommended."

"Excellent family house but the best thing is the view and the stillness that comes with it. It is well equipped, very comfortable and close to spa and swimming pool. Stairs not easy for those with mobility issues though."
