"I think the hotel lacks AC, and it was very hot during our stay. I believe the fans in the bedrooms were old and not as efficient as we have now become accustomed to. I understand that the disabled car park is available as close as possible, but it is still some distance for those with mobility issues. Enough moaning we enjoyed our stay very much."

"All very well appointed - from the carpark through to reception and the bedrooms. Rooms - attractive with lovely bed and bedding, comfortable chairs and table as well as desk and hanging space, good bathroom (nice bath - and shower could be lifted down also). Restaurant leading onto the beautiful gardens with magnificent ancient magnolia was very nice too - we had two excellent evening meals and breakfasts; there was a good choice of dishes for a vegetarian (me)."

"We stayed in a large refurbished room, comfortable bed, large bathroom super show and nice toiletries. The breakfast was lovely there could be a better bread choice selection and it gets busy and the staff are at full stretch but it didn't detract from their professionalism. We used the bus and if you plan and get the right ticket it works saves messing around looking for parking spots.Thoroughly recommend."

"Room was lovely quite a few cracks in the tiles in our bathroom and random hairs found in the shower but rooms was clean and such a good size for a family. Kids loved the pool and sitting round it on the loungers. Breakfast was really nice"

"The hotel is very clean and ideally located, with shops nearby and an adventure centre with cinema and other entertainment facilities just across the road. We booked a family room and it was great, very spacious and clean. I requested a cot for my baby and it was in the room when we got there. The swimming pool and other facilities were wonderful, and we all enjoyed it. The bar/restaurant was great too and they were showing the World Cup final on the big screen which was brilliant for my husband and 10 year old who are football mad. The staff were lovely, talked us through the self check in and out. They also assisted very promptly when we realised our shower had no bodywash, just shampoo and handwash. There were a lot of positives and we’d definitely book again. The only things that let us down a bit was that the room was at the far end of the corridor so there was a lot of walking to get to it. It seems the closest exit was blocked off for some maintenance work, which we aren’t holding against them as it is temporary. It was very warm in the night and there was no where to get water, which for me as a breastfeeding mum was disappointing. I tried to message the team on the designated platform, I even went down to reception in the early hours to try and get some water but to no avail. I assumed there’d be a water dispenser or a vending machine at least. Otherwise a good stay, seems they are fixing a few things in the hotel which is promising. I would highly recommend"
