An excellent choice for a stay in the Lymington/New Forest area. Easy access to shops, restaurants and local sites. Our hosts were very accommodating - breakfasts were excellent, help with logistics and recommendations were spot on! Everything was great!

Wonderful staff, lovely room!

Excellent place - beautiful setting, very good food, lovely and comfortable room and great service. I highly recommend it.

Only one night, late arrival but restaurant staff very accommodating. Room small but very clean and no problems. Bathroom nicely appointed. Would stay again , hopefully with more time .

We stayed three weeks here and really enjoyed our time there. The staff and owners were great and attentive to our needs. The breakfast was great as well and had plenty to chose from. It was a short walk to the cliffs and restaurants and shops. We would defiantly stay here again!!!

It was my wife and I’s first fl stay at CG. We loved our room and the service was great. The hotel and grounds were immaculate.

Quirky accommodation in an attic but nevertheless delightful. Good facilities in the room; accessible for the town and beach.

The setting is idyllic with lovely breezes off the ocean and a spectacular view. The staff was always ready to assist with everything. We loved the food as well, especially the breakfast which was included.

We had the most wonderful stay here - The room was perfect, and breakfast was somehow even better that perfect! Within our 2 night stay we became regulars at The Forester Arms right next door as well, what a great spot!!! I only wish we could have stayed longer. If I could give the Thatched Cottage 50 out of 5 stars, I would :)

Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The garden in beautiful. The food, for breakfast and dinner is exceptional

Easy check in, walkable location, close to the station, helpful hosts.
