"Do NOT be fooled by the A/C listed in the amenities, it is completely useless to you as a guest. The apartment uses a centralized system controlled entirely by building management, meaning you have zero ability to adjust it yourself. When we arrived, the temperature inside was a sweltering 28°C (84°F) with the HEATING on. In the middle of summer. We had no way to turn on the A/C, no way to cool the space down, and when I complained, the host offered absolutely no solution whatsoever. This is...

"We are a family of three staying in this appartment for three nights. The owner gave us checkin instruction making the checkin process very easy. The room has a kitchen which makes the stay very convenient. You have to assemble the sofa bed every night. But it's ok. The owner told us he clean the blankets very often, it seems clean. The location is also good."

"Ok, so...the property needs up-dating, a little wear and tear, the kitchen needs to be better equipped and the curtains don't quite fit. But, it was clean, comfortable enough, really secure, I mean, there are four locked doors, therefore four keys to enter apartment. The locality/neighbourhood is real Madrid, ie. not touristy. Metro is minutes away. Any staff you do meet are friendly and helpful and the Wi-Fi works."

But I felt compelled to warn future travelers so I can sleep at night.We were a group of 12, but this listing could only comfortably sleep about 7. "Great location. Lots of eating options with in 1 km. Liked having the balcony and kitchen for quick breakfast. "

"Great location by a main subway hub. Close to multiple grocery stores and restaurants in extremely nice part of Madrid. Place had plenty of room for our family of 5. Sara was very quick to respond with any questions I had, was very helpful with our check in and made the check out extremely easy. I would definitely stay here again if I am in Madrid. "

"Overall we had a pleasant experience in Madrid. The pictures on line aren't exactly what we experienced, for example it was a different lounge suite, no decorative pillows etc. The kitchen was not cleaned sufficiently and there was bread left over from the previous guests. Although ok, a little attention to detail would be better..eg. clean pillow covers, door sticks to get in - we found this out after we couldn't get back in."
