"Do NOT be fooled by the A/C listed in the amenities, it is completely useless to you as a guest. The apartment uses a centralized system controlled entirely by building management, meaning you have zero ability to adjust it yourself. When we arrived, the temperature inside was a sweltering 28°C (84°F) with the HEATING on. In the middle of summer. We had no way to turn on the A/C, no way to cool the space down, and when I complained, the host offered absolutely no solution whatsoever. This is...

"Ok, so...the property needs up-dating, a little wear and tear, the kitchen needs to be better equipped and the curtains don't quite fit. But, it was clean, comfortable enough, really secure, I mean, there are four locked doors, therefore four keys to enter apartment. The locality/neighbourhood is real Madrid, ie. not touristy. Metro is minutes away. Any staff you do meet are friendly and helpful and the Wi-Fi works."

"The stay here was great. Good place to sightsee, good restaurants that is walking distance. To get to places, train station is just down the road. However, it's missing a lot of the smaller things like a cutting board, strainer, steak knives, etc, etc. Which makes it a challenge to actually cook and is disappointing for a property that commands such a high price."
