Great location if you want to be anywhere within walking distance, metro also very close, simple, clean, friendly staff, in a very busy area, which for us was a plus, downside: walls are thin, but we still enjoyed our time there because it was really convenient, close to shopping and sightseeing spots, a lot of restaurants and cafes nearby, we had a great time

As a first time traveler to Madrid, the staff were incredibly helpful, accommodated to my weak Spanish speaking, and respected my privacy. The building might be a little old, but the rooms were very nice and recently refurbished. Highly recommend for a small cozy spot to rest before exploring the city.

Hostal is basically a mini-hotel. No extra amenities (breakfast, gym, pool, etc), but lots of great private rooms with personal bathrooms and AC units. The low price and great location more than made up for the lack of amenities I would expect at a more traditional hotel. Staff was excellent and helped us with everything we needed. 100% would stay again

Conveniently located, lovely staff, and clean accommodation. Check-in was a little tricky (emails with the relevant info ended up in my spam folder), but the staff was extremely helpful when I called the front desk. A bit of street noise at night but nothing too loud. Lots of good shopping nearby and well placed relative to the metro, I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in Madrid!

My experience is that, the first time I stayed in a hostel compared to a hotel, the best air conditioning and mattresses were what I liked most. Apart from cleaning, the guys help you a lot, its location is very close to everything, I recommend it 100%.

This is a gem of a place in a central location of Madrid — just a quick walk to the Plaza Mayor, the Prado, the Reina Sofia, and Retiro Park. Right near several different stops on multiple metro lines. Loads of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful front desk staff — especially Israel! He was awesome. My room was at the end of the hall and the entire place was so quiet — pleasant surprise for a major city! I’d definitely stay here again.
