"Awesome hotel …"

"Nice hotel, friendly staff, good breakfast and great location for the ferry. However, the room was advertised as 33 metres but was more like 18 metres. They must be including the outdoor patio area which is completely misleading to guests. The room was tiny with no desk or chair, and nowhere to put your suitcase. Also, during my 3-night stay, we had no water 3-4 times and had to wait 1-1.5 hours for it to be fixed. This is disappointing and not good enough for when your time is limited to go...

"Santiburi in Koh Samui is one of the best hotels we have stayed. The staff are super friedly and helpful, the manager present and helpful, the hotel is in an amazing state and the rooms were wide and spacious. The food selection at the 2 restaurants was good, but the quality and the taste of the food was fantastic! The pool could be a bit cooler but that's also a symptom of the weather conditions. Highly highly recommended"

"I booked for 10 nights but only stayed for 5 due to an incident and the hotel was good enough to organise a refund for the balance of the nights not stayed which was appreciated. I highly recommend staying beachfront in villa 1 as the sunrise over the ocean is incredible."

"If there was six stars I would give it that. Stayed two nights in a deluxe room and asked if it was possible to upgrade to a room with a pool. They accommodated us. The upgrade was not free but very reasonable and worth the extra money. The breakfast was not the biggest we have had but was one of the tastiest we have had. Staff was super kind. The grounds were well kept. There was a lot of renovation going on but was quiet (no power tools). I would recommend this hotel without reservation to...

"Good price and convenient location if taking the ferry from Mae Nam pier. Room with a fan and not a/c, very warm at night and would recommend taking a room with a/c if staying. Checked out at 11am but ferry was not until 5pm. Left suitcases at reception and asked for towels until 4pm to use either by the pool or the beach but was told no. I even suggested using the towels from the room which were similar to beach towels but was told no. Very little flexibility shown towards guests;...

"Although we only stayed here for two nights, my sister and I enjoyed our stay at the Escape Beach Resort as the staff was very kind and helpful. The room was comfortable and the restaurant was good for dinner and supper. The only downside of the hotel is it’s location as it’s situated down a very steep hill and some narrow roads which are quite scary to drive on.Taxis also cost more to come pick you up at the hotel as they have to drive down the steep hill. If you do stay there, consider renting...

"Comfortable accommodation and good, friendly service in a quiet part of Ko Samui. Meals at the restaurant were good, which is convenient because there’s not much else going on nearby... but that was fine for us. Pool and beach were lovely and relaxing. "

"A nice place to stay, rooms were nice with good air conditioning and kept clean. The staff spoke no English, yet were very hospitable in understanding and couldn't do enough for you. Only a short walk to the beach and shops right down the road. All in all a very nice hotel and would definitely stay again."

"The road up to the villa was not for the faint of heart, but once there, it was truly Shangri-La. Our defining memory is idly time away and enjoying the million dollar view from the infinity pool. The villa is beautifully appointed, spacious and thoughtfully designed. Services and excellent dining are close by, including a wonderful Thai diner at the bottom of the hill. Believe the photos on VRBO; if anything, they can’t fully display the beauty of the villa or how stunning the view is."

"Lovely quiet property with amazing view, just a short walk to beaches and restaurants. Host was always available to help with transports, scooter rentals, and recommendations. Loved our stay, and wish it was longer. Will definitely be back"
