Welcome to Valley View Cabin, managed by Carolina Mountain Vacation Homes, a family-owned business proudly serving Maggie Valley and Waynesville travelers since the early 1990s.

This beautifully appointed mountain retreat offers stunning long-range valley views, year-round paved access, a private hot tub, game room, and plenty of space for families or groups. Located just 1 mile from the Maggie Valley Fairgrounds, you can even enjoy live music and seasonal events from the deck.

  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

Great stay in the mountains!

This is our second time at this property and everyone in our group had a wonderful time! The house has great Mountain Views but is still very close to a lot of things to do and places to eat. The kids love the giant loft area as well as the game room!

A great place to stay

We had a wonderful time at this house. It has everything we needed, a perfect place to replace and spend quality time with the family. Even on the rainy day that we had we were able to just stay in the house and enjoy all it had to offer. We will definitely be planning to stay here again!

Great home for or weekend trip!

The house was great! Very spacious, clean, and we had a blast with the amenities. We played the Wii, pool, and got in the hot tub. The view on the porch was also wonderful. Overall, a great place to stay for our weekend trip!

One of the best VRBOs we have ever stayed in

Everyone in our family absolutely loved this VRBO. From the sleeping loft, to the Coffee / Waffle Bar on the main level, to the pool table, Pacman machine, and hot tub in the basement, everything was well thought out and lovely. We would be delighted to stay here again should the need arise and the property be available.

The perfect mountain stay

The house was beautiful and clean! It felt very homey. Plenty off room for everyone. The game room was a perfect place to watch a football game and plenty of entertainment for the little ones! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back!

Almost Heaven

One of the nicest VRBO's we've stayed in. The view is amazing (overlooking Maggie Valley). The location is amazing (close to Ashville, Cherokee, Dale's Wheels Through Time Museum, Waterfalls and the Blue Ridge Parkway). The amenities are incredible (coffee station, firepit, deck, hot tub). The drive up the mountain is a goat path and may be tricky in snowy conditions but was not a problem otherwise.

Wonderful home

The Valley View was the perfect place for our family Thanksgiving get-together. The open kitchen and dining room was perfect for meal preparation. The living room was large enough for all of us. We will definitely try to reserve this home again!

Great Stay and Location

Great property and responsive management team. Clean, spacious, and well decorated. My only complaint is anyone doing Sunday checkouts is left with the option of either paying additional trash fees in cash or transporting their trash with them (the local trash dump is closed on Sundays).

Beautiful location

The house itself had the perfect log cabin vibes to fit our large family for a beautiful mountain stay. We did have some problems with dishes being dirty upon arrival, ants, and toilets clogging - but nothing we couldn’t handle on our own and nothing big enough to ruin our stay.

Birthday celebration

This weekend was to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. She loves the mountains and has been visiting Maggie Valley for 60 years. The house was perfect and the view was spectacular.

Best Place To Stay in Maggie Valley

The Valley View property was the absolute best place we've stayed in while visiting Maggie Valley! Beautiful house, beautiful view, awesome amenities, better than described. We did a lot of traveling while visiting, but had several family gatherings where we cooked, played games and spent valuable time with my mother and her twin sister. We will be reaching out to the property managers for future use of this and the other properties they manage. Great group to work with!

Weekend wedding

The house was so perfect we didn't want to go to the wedding. Loved the pool table, games and hot tub. The beds were all very comfy and there was plenty of space in all the bedrooms. Too many little extras to mention. Turning around in the driveway was a little tricky, but we got the hang of it. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Bike Rally

Property was great. Views were magnificant. We were coming to the area for the Motorcycle rally- Thunder in the smokies. Weather was marginal so we didn[t ride our bikes. The hairpin turns were pretty sharp and would have been difficult on a motorcycle.

Everything was as described. However EV charger was not level 2 or 3 so not sure why charger was in locked box. House was in great location and everything else was in great condition. We were not able to get deck gas firebox to work unfortunately

Family Vacation

We stayed in this wonderful cabin during our family vacation. Our first for our first granddaughter (9 mths old).We had a group of 11. Everyone that was with us spoke highly of the beds being comfortable. We were able to enjoy several familily meals. Afterwords we would sit on the deck, watch the sun set, and watch the squirrels in the trees. After one of our hiking expeditions the hot tub was amazing. It sure helped my huband and my achy muscles. I would definitely recommend this cabin for anyone looking for that home away from home feel. recommend this cabin.

Fall hiking get-away

We have taken trips to the Smokies for nearly 30 years for hiking with friends and family. First time staying in the Maggie Valley area. Valley View waa juat whar we needed to accommodate our group. The place was spacious enough for 9 adults ( we were supposwd to have 2 more that had to cancel, but they would have also fit). The place was clean, well kept and for us, an excellent location for access to the parks and some awesome hiking. Getting into Waynesville is easy from the location as well. We would definitely stay at this location once again!

Cute place with a view

We enjoyed our stay at the Valley View. Make sure to take toiletries because there was only half a roll of toilet paper in one bathroom and no extras for 11 people for 4 days. Also, be cautious as the drive up to the house is steep and is switchbacks up there. The driveway looks wider than it is in the photos and with 5 vehicles, leaves not much room. We came for a car/truck show and there was no way we were getting any trailer up to the house. Very pretty view from the house though.
