Norton Creek Cottage sits on a private 2.51 acre property within 30 feet of the waters edge that offers 450 Feet of Norton Creek frontage, a new 2022 creek side firepit, a 2020 complete renovation. With a location that is a convenient 5.2 miles or 10 minutes to Downtown Cashiers, 6 miles or 11 minutes to the marina on Lake Glenville where you can rent boats, and 14 miles to Highlands. The sound and visual experience from Norton Creek will instantly set you into vacation mode and will let you know that you have arrived at your Mountain Retreat. There are no neighbors so your visit will be a quiet one. The cabin is all on one level and offers amazing wrap around decks which the back part is screened in with plenty of seating, TV, picnic table and looks at the 450 feet of creek frontage. The interior of the cabin has frequently desired painted ship lap throughout the cabin, the floors are heart pine wide plank wood, there are brand new appliances and granite counter tops, newly tiled shower and an accent wall of reclaimed barn wood. There is a 5 ft french door in the dining area that can be opened up to the screen porch where you will find a seating area to watch the outdoor TV or a picnic table to sit and eat with the family. There are 3 TV's which are located outside, in the living room and in the master bedroom which are all Smart TV's so you have a lot of options for viewing. The living room has a gas fireplace for your comfort or atmosphere while hanging out. There is also a live edge wood table for any computer work if you need to keep in touch with the office. Don't forget to bring your fishing poles!!! We are now offering upon request guest passes to access the Sapphire Valley Recreation Center in nearby Sapphire N.C. where you can play on the 9-hole golf course, or the 9-hole soccer golf, swim in the indoor and/or outdoor pool, sweat in a sauna or soak in a hot tub, play pool, table tennis, or putt-putt. If you think you might be interested we will need to know the first and last name of all guests who would like to go to the Center and we can get a three day pass for your visit. Any child under age 14 does not require a pass if accompanied by someone with a pass. The Center is open daily, hours may vary so call to confirm.

Our stay was wonderful. House and property were exactly as expected. The owner was wonderful in communicating and the house had everything we needed. Was furnished very nicely and very comfortable.
My husband and I enjoyed every second of our stay at that beautiful cabin!!! Everything was absolutely pristine! The cabin was spotless and gorgeous, and the creek in the backyard was amazing! We hope so much we can stay again!
Excellent place to stay and relax! Customer service and communication was beyond exceptional. The cottage had everything needed and the drive to town is very short. Also not a far drive to get out in the national park/state parks for outdoor activities. 10/10 would stay here again.

Place was amazing. Very clean and appliances were all new. Spacious accommodations. Lovely firepit sits outside right along a small creek. Firewood provided. Gas grill like new also available on the large deck. I cant say enough positive things about this house. Lovely stay

Very relaxing and peaceful!! Home and property were just as described. Host and owner very responsive to all our questions. Owner actually gave us some great alternate navigation routes which really helped. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for the perfect getaway to just relax and unwind.
Our family vacation at Pam’s creekside cottage was amazing. The cottage was so clean and had everything we needed. We loved fishing and playing in the creek, playing a board game on the porch, and s'more's by the fire. We rented a boat on Lake Glenville, hiked to High Falls, and ate great food at the many restaurants in Cashiers. Our vacation was relaxing and exactly what we all hoped for. We hope to come back!
The home was lovely, comfortable, and clean! We loved the screened porch and ate dinner there every night. The fire pit by the creek was nice! Nice private outdoor space. There is a little road noise from the road above and the driveway is very steep! Approaching the cottage to turn right into the drive is a very sharp turn. We would definitely stay again!
The accommodations were more than I expected. Very well stocked home comfortable bed. If you are used to the mountains, it’s no big deal. If you’re a flatlander, it takes getting used to. The owners were very attentive anytime I contacted them. Loved getting out of the heat in Houston.
Our stay at the house over Labor Day weekend was fantastic. The communication, check in, and check out process were all smooth and easy. The house was extremely clean and welcoming. The fire pit by the water was a great place to end every night. Located a few minutes from Whiteside Brewing in Cashiers and close to several amazing hikes. The roughly 100yards of creek front yard was very nice for our dogs to play in everyday. We will definitely be back.
We were drawn in by the online photos of the cottage and its setting along Norton Creek. Opening the door, we discovered the place is even more charming.
It feels very spacious and every little detail has been thought about even down to labels on the light switches so you know which is which. Cleanliness is taken very seriously here too.
We loved sitting on the screened-in porch most of the day and also in the red chairs near the creek in the evening. The temps were so nice compared to home in late June.
Initially we were worried about getting our Ford Transit 150 van up and down the steep incline of the driveway but it proved to be a nonissue.
This was a wonderful stay and we hope to return soon!

The home was clean, comfortably furnished, kitchen stocked appropriately with utensils and cooking/cleaning supplies. The owner/property manager was very easy to reach and check in / check out was a breeze. No unreasonable check out requests from the host, unlike other properties we have rented.
This home was laid out perfectly for our family. The creek and backyard space was absolutely perfect for our two large dogs to run, without worrying about them leaving the property. The outdoor space, particularly, was well-kept and offered a fun and safe space for our 2 year old son and our two dogs to run around and play.
The screened-in elevated porch offered the perfect space for morning coffee, watching football, and eating meals outdoors when the weather was nice.
The bathroom is nicely updated, spacious, and clean. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are very comfortable. We appreciated having a full size washer and dryer with laundry detergent available for us to use.
We can’t wait to book another long weekend at this home.
Great property. Could not be cleaner or cuter. Great bedding, and kitchen provisions. Location would be 5 stars except for how close it is to Norton Road. A little noisy during the day.
Updated so cute, very comfortable living space and well accommodated!! We didn’t want to leave. Owners have thought of everything to make it a great stay! Be sure to arrive when it’s light outside, the driveway is hard to find at night when you are unfamiliar with the area.
Our stay at the cabin was perfect for our family. The home is beautiful, the creek frontage relaxing and peaceful, and proximity to Cashiers & Highlands is perfect. We hiked all our favorite trails, roasted marshmallows by the creek and enjoyed our favorite NC mountains to the fullest.
This property was recently renovated they have done a great job with the renovation. We LOVED the screened in porch and the tv was a nice touch. We spent a lot of time on the porch. We also loved the property - it is very private and my husband enjoyed fishing in the creek. The location was great - very close to Cashiers and not too far from Highlands. Incredible cottage with everything you need for your stay. Spent three nights with family of four and two dogs. Perfect space from fully stocked kitchen to outdoor fire pit on the creek’s edge. Close to Cashiers, Highlands and more. Also provides access to Sapphire Valley Resort - even got a round of golf in. When we arrived, fire was going, and everything was ready for us to enjoy our stay. Highly recommend!
