Gorgeous hotel with amazing views of the city. Although it is a little outside the city, you can walk (about 30-45 minutes) or the hotel provides transportation at certain times of the day.

Our best stay of our entire trip! The place was so clean and nice looking! Oscar was so helpful and accommodating to us! A cute stay in a beautiful smaller area. Great location if you want a more quiet stay! Would 100% recommend staying here.

The Agriturismo Al Marnich is one of the few remaining authentic, family-run agriturismo, serving locally grown, homemade food both at breakfast and dinner. This hotel is just beautiful and located just steps away from the ferry dock. It is so relaxing and the staff is incredibly welcoming. Breakfast on the balcony overlooking Lake Como is worth it alone. It’s an absolute gem.

This has been characterized as a highway hotel and it may so but it's definitely much more than that. Rooms are ample and very comfortable, and clean. Hotel staff is always ready to help. Located next to a highway it allows for easy access to Como, Lecco, Milan or any other place in Lombardy. You do need a car though, but there's a train station a 20-minute walk away. This is one of the most spectacular places I’ve ever stayed. The room was very large with a beautiful patio overlooking Lake Como. The breakfast was large and amazing serving foods from their own private gardens. Mary and her staff are outstanding and I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Don’t miss a chance to stay here! The view from our room was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay (2 nights). There's a nice passage by the lake. Breakfast was very good, especially cappuccino! The staff was helpful at the desk. There's a little market about 500 meters away, which was convenient. The train station is 100 meters but there is no person at the office. The train comes every hour or every two hours. We took a train to Varenna Esino and walked to the Villa Monastero/Botanical Garden. It was very nice.

Everything was excellent! The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Also the food at their restaurant was probably the best I had in all of Como.

This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. Fam. rooms are comfortable, cute, clean on top of that you have WiFi. I definitely recommend this place so much!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Rita takes very good care of you like she is your own Italian Nana. The food at the restaurant is home made by her and delicious. The rooms are nice and our view was great. It is a bit of a walk up the hill from Varenna, but nothing a cold beer won't make you forget. Overall highly recommended.

This hotel is not in a town that has a lot of nightlife but if you're looking for some peace and quiet and a home base to visit other towns, this place is perfect. The owners, Antonia and Samuel were very helpful in finding our way to the other towns on the lake. There is a ferry that stops directly across from the hotel. We booked a balcony room overlooking the Lake and WOW! We had the most romantic and unforgettable stay. The staff is so kind and generous, we will definitely stay again next time we’re in the Como area.
