Castles in Maine-et-Loire

"Chateau is beautiful and in a very peaceful spot. I would describe it as 'shabby chic' as there are areas where money could be spent. However it is lovely and features such as the sweeping staircase, chandelier's and furniture look gorgeous. Town is only 4 miles away with a range of restaurants. Continental breakfast was great and plentiful. Only met 1 member of staff at breakfast but she was lovely and gave us some of the history of the chateau. Another English couple were staying in Kings Room...

Le lieu est tout simplement magnifique : entre les espaces extérieurs parfaitement entretenus, la vue imprenable depuis la terrasse et le charme des lieux, tout était réuni pour vivre un moment magique. C’est presque irréel d’avoir eu la chance de profiter d’un cadre aussi exceptionnel – un vrai rêve éveillé !Un grand merci également aux propriétaires, pour leur gentillesse, leur accueil...

"This is a beautiful chateau and we loved our time here. The bedrooms are all very spacious and comfortable and the communal areas work perfectly for a group gathering. The swimming pool is a wonderful feature. I highly recommend the property. We have rented many chateau over the years in France and this is one of our favorite."

"If you are looking for a magical setting for your wedding, this is the place! Susy and William will answer all of your questions/concerns immediately and their suggestions for caterer/officiant/entertainment were spot on. The grounds are gorgeous with plenty to do, whether you want to relax and walk around the lake or head into town to explore. It was a wonderful week we will never forget. In May, the Chateau can be a little chilly but it adds to the nostalgic feel of this dreamy setting."
