""The close proximity to the station is very good. The staff is also very kind, which is nice. The rooftop is spacious and has a great sense of openness š, so it would be good to come with friends. The room is average. The shower doesn't work. Only hot water comes out of the faucet. Also, the noise from the nearby shops is really loud. People who are sensitive to noise might not be able to sleep until morning. If it weren't for that, it would be five stars.""

good location in Malioboro, great service at the desk, clean room tho small (not a problem for us) nice bathroom with good hot shower! walkable to many attractions. only thing i will say was the breakfast was very local style, we didnāt love it as westerners. so if thereās an option for room without breakfast for slightly cheaper maybe go with that! however, they obviously canāt cater to anyone and it was a nice touch that they even had the option! just maybe a way to save a few $. overall an...

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Da Djokja! I appreciated the warm welcome from the hotel staff, especially those in the lobby, who made me feel comfortable and welcome.
The gym was another highlight of my stay! It has a great view of the pool from the gym. I find it really cute of how small the gym is and how much equipment it can fit in there. It is also well maintained.

The location is perfect and the staff is wonderful. The hotel is just off a main street, so it is quiet at the hotel but you are close to many restaurant, cafes, and bars. You can book tours and airport transport at the front desk.

Lovely experience in an old historical hotel offering every modern convenience you could expect and want. You do get more than your monies' worth. Great room (choose the ones overlooking the pool), attentive staff, excellent breakfast but do go early to take advantage of all the choices. How often do you get live gamelan music played while eating your morning meal? Recommend the Happy Hour at the bar serving you cocktails by very professional bartenders before sitting down to a delightful meal...
