"We went here for our honeymoon- and LOVED it!! Incredible breakfast, beautiful view right from the dining area, sunsets unlike any I’ve ever seen, right from our jacuzzi. Private jacuzzi on each balcony… amazing. Also plenty of options for local tours/etc and they arrange for transportation and guides and everything. Manuel Antonio national park- amazing wildlife, worth getting a guide who can point out all the biodiversity with binoculars!! And the beach there is incredible- clear water, white sands. Not much to see as far as hiking - for avid hikers might be better to go to a different part of Costa Rica. 10-15 minute hike to several private or semi private beaches, which we enjoyed we love hiking. 20 minute walk to Manuel Antonio, several cute restaurants - would recommend Emilio’s Cafe, Monarcha (butterfly cafe & good breakfast). Don’t recommend the restaurant Sunset! Food was overpriced and not very good. Issimo’s restaurant was delicious!! Staff very prompt and kind. Definitely pricey so we went to Manuel Antonio most nights. The suites at Issimo do appear not to have been remodeled since ~2010 or earlier- so alittle older BUT we didn’t really care, found it still incredibly luxurious for us, especially for the price. "We had a great experience. Kevin saved our bacon twice, when we managed to lock ourselves out of the room safe, and was also able to provide us with a week’s worth of ice, when we probably needed just 3 or 4 days worth, but his enthusiasm and sincerity scored points!"

"The property is gorgeous! We had the standard deluxe room and it was great. No one above us and only one other room beside us, so quiet and serene. Monkeys ate from the mango tree every day on our balcony. Most importantly the bed is very comfortable and it has great pillows! Very private rooms situated throughout the property. The free breakfast had great choices and great food throughout the day. The only recommendation I have for the hotel is to replace the plastic glasses used in the room with actual glass. We did ask for some & they happily gave them to us. We had a lovely relaxing stay!! "

"The resort was beautiful, quiet and clean, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. You will see monkeys and sloths. The staff will point them out to you as well. Most of the community does speak English and do take dollars without difficulty. The restaurants on the resort are pricey, we tried Agua Azul close by and it was delicious and reasonable, Emil’s Cafe was also great but also a little more pricey. Taking a taxi to the local restaurants in Manuel Antonio is about $10 each way, into the manual. Antonio Park is $12 each way. We initially use the resort transportation when we arrived to take us from the Quapos airport to the resort which was around $68. I asked the resort multiple times how much transportation would be via taxi and they avoided this question. On the way back, we decided to take a red taxi and it was only $25. The resort was helpful when asking how much to taxi would be to other places, although not to the airport. Adorable tourist shops in the area although very overpriced so do negotiate. We did multiple tours that we booked on our own. I would definitely recommend a guide for the manual Antonio Park. We did a volunteer for a day with Kids Saving the Rainforest and you will see more animals up close. Also loved the Night walk Rainmaker tour and horseback to beautiful waterfalls. Transportation to the Waterfall was $140 and tix $160 for two, but lovely. Bring any meds you might need pharmacy charged $80 for a $20 medication, ouch"

"My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here! The resort is absolutely beautiful and our room and views were stunning! We saw so many animals just sitting on our balcony. The staff was very friendly and courteous. The food was great at both of their restaurants. It’s a very short driving distance from Manuel Antonio National Park and they offer shuttle service to and from the park and the beach. We will definitely be back!"

"Beautiful property with some thoughtful considerations. Light dimming and personal concierge. Great view from balcony. Personally, I think some reconsiderations in some of their interior design would be nice. It of course, could be my personal taste. Staff is very friendly"

"Positives: It was very cute. Beautiful beach and delicious food locally. The staff was nice. We appreciated having dishes and cutlery! We loved the Baguette. Great wait staff and view. Negatives: Parking was rough. Not many spaces and backing in/out was borderline dangerous. Day two we had some little spider ant looking things. Not sure if that is common or not?"
