"Very nice property. I had room with beautiful view of the ocean. The free breakfast was excellent, I had lunch there one day, The prices were good. I would give 10 out of 10, especially when you consider the price for the room with such a beautiful view. The staff is very friendy. "

It really is as beautiful and amazing as they say! Go early to the National Park as even with reservations we had to wait in a rather long line. Tour guides were cheaper at the gate than I had seen online but we didn't need one. Saw lots of animals!

Manuel Antonio is a great place, the parks is beautiful with many animals and book a guide - it is worth it, the beaches are really nice and bring your swimwear into the park as the one there is amazing with white sand. Great restaurants too!

Excellent
The national park is excellent with tours and sandy beaches. It is great to see white face monkeys on one side and beautiful ocean on the other. The local bus is very convenient taking us from the beach back to the hotel.

We did a morning guided tour in the park, and included on the park website we did a nighttime tour and a 4x4 jeep safari tour. All 3 were great!

Amazing. I wouldn't change a thing about this trip from the hotel, to walking to El Lagarto (twice), to kayaking the mangroves (which was booked through the hotel) and going to Manuel Antonio solo without a guide.

We visited the National Park and were warned about the hustlers. Follow the road all the way to the $10 parking lot on the right, just before the park entrance, not parking on the street!

Access to the beach and the capuchin monkeys is incredible! And we highly recommend walking the national park trails (you do NOT need a guide!)

Manuel Antonio is spread out on a mountain and valleys typical costa rican town/hotel areas over looking ocean. It was pretty neat as a town and national park, but I did not like the narrow curvy roads! Need to be careful and alert...but worth it!
"Monkeys right outside was fun! Pool/swim up bar was nice. This place is right next to the entrance to MANP so that was great!
Spa was Great! I had a massage two days in a row because of a very sore neck! Andrea was great!
We stayed in the Ballena suite, which was wonderful!
The burgers at the restaurant were the size of my son’s head! The sushi was great too! Everyone was very helpful!
If you go during the rainy season, know that it rains a lot and some of the stairs get very slippery! I was hanging onto the railing and I still slipped and fell. I was fine, but just a heads up that when it rains it POURS and the floors are very slippery so be careful!
Highly recommend this place!!!"
"We loved this place! Stayed on a family vacation with me and my 13 year-old, and it was great - appropriate for couples, families, etc. The pool was great, the location on the beach was awesome. The igloos were so cool - cozy, but enough room to move around and hang out. Breakfast at the hotel was delish. We would highly recommend to anyone going to Manuel Antonio!!"
"Where do i start!! Absolutely love our stay at this hotel within the staff Moses at the bar. He was absolutely wonderful. Check-in was very easy. We had a grand bungalow and our room was phenomenal. Housekeeping was very clean. We’re around a lot of different restaurants five minutes away from the national park it was one great experience. There are a lot of animals and monkeys around in our hotel which was a plus my mom was at another hotel nearby and there wasn’t a lot of animals to see around their hotel but ours had a lot, which was one of the best parts of the experience while you’re laying down on the pool you will absolutely see the animals once in a lifetime experience thank you all for such a great time"
"Staff and management were amazing. They were very accommodating. The room was so spacious. The walk to the beach was an adventure and it is beautiful. The breakfast was amazing and pizza at the restaurant was good. So excited to see monkeys outside balcony. I saw more wildlife at Shana than at the park. I definitely recommend this place. I loved it"
"Gentlemen at the check in area were amazing. I loved the hotel, it was quiet and peaceful, away from the noise. The hanging bridges were so exciting. The view was beautiful. I definitely coming back!!!"
"The El Faro Containers Beach hotel isn’t on the beach (5 min walk) but is built into a steep hill -- so steep, they offer free golf cart rides up and down to access. The pools are nice and they provide beach towels. The hotel is built from old shipping containers, so the rooms are long and narrow. But they are nice and quite comfortable. The elevators are small and slow. Each room has an ocean view from its balcony. On check-in, they warn you to close your room door tight because the monkeys have figured out how to work the doorknob and get in to trash your belongings. I saw a monkey on the roof right outside my hotel window on the day I checked out. Quepos is a short drive away, and there are lots of restaurants, services, and things to do in the Manuel Antonio resort area. "
