"A 30 minute drive from the Opren gate of Kruger Park and a good price/value considering other nearby accommodations are much higher priced. Seemed to be newer with a good air conditioner and was clean. This is not a true boutique hotel but more like a rental of a large 1 bedroom 2 story townhouse in a gated townhouse community on a hilltop. De fan kan alleen maar gardven heel hard wat erg hard waait als je ligt te slapen . We vonden t zwembad in verhouding met de aantal huisje best klein . En deze kan wat love and care gebruiken . "

"Wow. Wir durften vier Tage über Weihnachten 2022 in der Kubu Lodge verbringen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist super. Manfred und Nicole haben eine wunderbare Unterkunft erschaffen, die einen den Busch fühlen lässt. Viel Komfort, tolles Essen, aber bodenständig. Der Staff ist super, offen und witzig. Like an elephant, I will never forget this stay

"From the welcome to the farewell, everything was exceptional. Nell was a knowledgeable and engaging guide and we saw all the animals we wanted to see and more - amazing sightings of elephants, rhinos, leopards and lions to name a few. The rooms were comfortable and meals were delicious. The staff went the extra mile to cater to our needs - a special shout out to Carmen who ensured that everything we required was arranged with a smile. I would recommend Elephant Plains to anyone visiting South Africa. "

"Property was excellent - rooms were fantastic top-notch! Had private pool overseeing bush. Staff were very courteous and welcoming. We felt like home away from home. Our ranger Michael and tracker Adwais were superb and very knowledgeable - showed us big 5 and mag 7 in just 4 game drives - kids just loved it!! Highly recommend Leopard hills!"

"This place is a must go. From the moment you checkin and are greeted by Francisco to the time you leave, you feel like the most important person in the world. The guides we had (Simon, Rudolph) were incredible and got us up close and personal with the animals. We will be taking our family back! "

Short safari trip

"Picked imbali as a good place for a short 3 day safari. Food portions were large and of good quality . There are some areas where the wood at the lodge and around the property need some replacement but overall didn’t detract from a lovely setting . Watering hole for elephants is directly opposite the restaurant area so good for breakfast and lunch . Safari drives were good and Jayden did a great job for us . Would have been nice to have a transfer from local airport Skukuza included in the cost of the room. Private hire was around £135 each way."
