"A delightful stay with a multi-generational family group and the property suited our needs perfectly. A well equipped kitchen had everything we needed for cooking meals. The ground floor bedroom was useful for grandparents. As mentioned in the description, the Internet was a bit patchy at times but we chose to embrace this as an opportunity for digital detox."

"We had a very enjoyable week at Copper Beech which is situated in a lovely village. It would have been nice to have had a welcome pack to greet us or to meet the owners , there wasn't any spare toilet rolls or rubbish bags they would have been helpful. The rooms are spacious albeit rather bare of pictures and in need of updating. It was good to have all the bedrooms ensuite although some of us had dripping taps. The kitchen was well equipped and the swimming pool was a big bonus and the outside garden and orchard are very pretty. We opted to pay extra for the central heating which helped keep down the need to use pound coins in the meter. Overall, the house was fine for family and friends and was a good base to tour the Jurassic coast. There is a very good local pub called The Hare and Hounds about 1 mile away with excellent food and friendly staff. Ken ."

"What a find! Looking for something suitable for 12 people including teenagers is not easy. Lancombes farmhouse was brilliant. Very spacious where people could spread and so well appointed. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch. Adrian, the owner, was very friendly and helpful although still giving us privacy. Beds were extremely comfy and good shower and bathrooms. The setting is lovely and we took advantage of local footpaths to do a three mile walk straight from the front door."

"We stayed here for 3 nights, the property was spotlessly clean on arrival. Parking at the cottage was a blessing as the road outside was busy with residents cars. An ideal base to explore Dorset, and several pubs within easy walking distance. Would stay here again."
