Yellowtail Island Retreat, pool, dockage and covered patio

Our Island home features three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a large wrap around porch with large covered balcony with see through pull down shades, ceiling fans, and patio furniture off of the kitchen. The balcony overlooks the large 14’ x 28’ heated pool, additional charge for heater, and large outdoor deck area with chaise lounges chairs. The home offers 30’ of dockage for a boat. The canal is a flow through, clear and snorkelable canal. The master suite is a king size bed with with large flat screen television. The large master bath has a jetted tub/shower and a bidet. There is also a queen room and a double twin room with each room having its own television and the twin room a TV/DVD player. A queen size aero bed is also available. The kitchen is all granite with stainless steel appliances. A double kayak, two paddles, vests, along with two bicycles come with the property. There is a fish cleaning table, bait freezer, and gas grill. We rent Saturday to Saturday only. Pet fee $100/stay

This house was very clean, well decorated, great furnishings (brand new bed!), conveniently located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to stores. The pool was warm, the canal was fun, and we enjoyed kayaking I can’t think of a single thing that could have improved our stay!! Incredible find!!

Everything was perfect. Close to access gulf or Atlantic. Spent many hours in the pool. Inside home comfortable with everything you need. Outside comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to return. Bring toilet paper as we had none in the house when we got there.

Michelle's home is in a great location and plenty of space for the 7 of us. Being able to keep my 26' boat right out back was very convenient and the pool was lovely after long days of fishing. We all enjoyed ourselves very much!

We decided to heat the pool during our January stay and were glad that we did. It was cool and windy the first few days that we were there but we found plenty of things to do. The location is perfect for exploring the Keys or for just hanging out at the house.

Property was much better than advertised. Kitchen, bathrooms and entire property were absolutely spotless. Close to beaches, restaurants and excellent fishing. Very roomy. All the accessories that you will need for a week stay. Bring your food, clothes and need for relaxation and everything else is there. Host Michelle was very proactive with any concerns we had which were very few. Would definitely return just trying to settle on a date.

The house has quick, easy access to the Gulf! We had plenty of dockage for our 22’ boat!. The house itself is well stocked, very clean and has a great layout. The pool is big enough for the entire family to enjoy and the owners were awesome. We really enjoyed our stay!

Yellowtail Island Retreat is located in a quiet residential street on a canal. The home is beautifully decorated and immaculate; kitchen is well stocked and the manager responds quickly to any question. The pool is the perfect place to spend an afternoon or the 2-person kayak is available for an adventure in the bay. A perfect place to explore the mid Keys area!

We had an amazing time staying at Yellowtail Island retreat. We have been vacationing in Marathon for the last 15 years and this home was by far the best! It was just as advertised clean, well stocked with all the equipment you need and the pool was wonderful. I would say that the boat slip seemed a little smaller than what was stated online but the boat we rented did fit. Also in the afternoon the sun was right on the pool and there wasn't really any shaded area to sit which was hard when you have kids in the pool and you want to sit and watch on the side. Other than that we truly enjoyed our stay and the location was perfect for us. Will definitely be staying here in the future.

I and a group of buddies go to the Keys every year. This place had everything we needed and more. Not to mention a great boat dock, the ease of running back and forth to the home made the stay much better. I will be coming back.

Great week in Marathon! This house was clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the patio overlooking the pool and canal was relaxing. Location was great close to everything. Spent some time in the large pool. Huge bonus being able to park boat right behind the house and plenty of space for trailer. The host was very communitive and friendly! Would love to return!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The canal provided the opportunity to view several species each of birds and fish and a manatee as well. The pool afforded the opportunity to cool off when necessary. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, but restaurants and stores were within easy driving distance.
