Luxury Oasis: Serene Beachfront with Pool & Dock

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had the best week in Ambergris Caye staying at Playa Goma. The house was beautiful and perfectly suited my family of 4. We had our 2 boys with us ages 9 and 12. Everyone had their own en suite bedroom. The house was very clean and had even more amenities than we realized before arrival. The upstairs landing has a washer and dryer and plenty of dryer sheets and laundry soap was provided for our use all week. This came in handy day with 2 very active boys. The bathrooms are also well equipped with hand soap and tissues along with plenty of TP. All of the showers had complimentary shampoos and conditioners as well. We never had to buy any of this. The downstairs was wonderful. We loved the big open space. The kitchen had everything we needed as we did cook dinner a few nights. They had numerous basic spices as well as plenty of coffee and sugar. The house also provided 2 jugs of water that we used to drink, make ice and cook. They lasted all week and we didn’t have to buy additional. The outside area including the pool was our favorite part. We enjoyed the pool daily. There are at least 10 pool towels for our use and 2 pool floats. We had the best time and would gladly stay again! Thank you!"

"Our group of 7 adults stayed for the week and had an amazing time. The property was beautiful, peaceful and just what we were looking for. The layout was ideal. Pool was perfect size for our group with great outdoor space to enjoy! The home had all we needed for the week; towels, well appointed kitchen, drinking water, a bi-weekly cleaning. Our boat captain was able to pick us up off the dock! We rented golf carts for the week, the drive north takes a few minutes but with the construction of the new concrete road not bad. Ester was a fantastic host, 5 stars. Answering all our questions, helping set up massage services at the home, taxi transfers, her communication was beyond my expectations. I’d highly recommend this property for anyone wanting to stay out of the hustle and bustle of San Pedro center."

"The pool was incredible! Only problem was all the mosquitos, but it’s the tropics so… Hard to enjoy outdoors around the pool and on the deck. Property is private, quiet. House is as listed minus a few minor issues. I would have appreciated more cooking items. We were a group of 11, so we needed most meals to be at the house. And more than one towel per person would have been nice. But overall a great week! Cora is wonderful and made the experience even better! "

"The villa is perfect for an extended family, with three separate living areas, all connected. Clean, roomy and comfortable, although the kitchen equipment could be more evenly distributed. It is quiet, the pool is sparkling, and a quick golf cart ride takes you to groceries. We enjoyed playing volleyball on our own sandy beachfront and found the pool area and expansive penthouse portico to be favourite gathering areas.Cora couldn't possibly be more accessible and knowledgeable, and Jorge is simply amazing--everywhere all the time, quietly maintaining the property, with immediate response to any requests.The one thing that firmly holds the property from a 5-star rating is the problem with the sea grass. This is not unique to the Villa, it is an issue common to Ambergris; however, some effort to clean up the accumulation on the beach, along with the garbage it collects, would improve the atmosphere completely. The lovely long dock, ending in a peaceful sitting area, would be infinitely more appealing if one did not have to walk past the odoriferous beach.Access to snorkelling is perfect and, for sea bird lovers, this location is a joy.Our family of 14 genuinely loved our time here and the happy memories it provided."

Box House Boca Ciega - Unique Beachfront Container Home

"Great place to stay if you’re looking to get away from the crowds. The host was amazing and responsive to our messages during our day. The food in San Pedro is amazing and you can’t get a bad meal on the island! One of our favorite places to eat, ended up being the hula bar, which is less than five minutes away from the house and has amazing chicken tacos!The views from the house are picturesque and you can’t beat them. The pier is private and we enjoyed sun tanning on it during our stay. The only downside is the beach isn’t really conducive to walking as there is quite a bit of seaweed that comes up in that area. Plenty of other beaches on the island to get to easily so it wasn’t an issue for us. We loved taking day trips up to secret beach and enjoying the water on that side of the island. I would recommend flying into Belize and staying there for a couple of days first to do some tours if that’s something that you’re interested in and then taking an inner island flight over to San Pedro for the rest of your stay. The cost to get back-and-forth from Belize to San Pedro can add up for excursions if you don’t do it that way. I would highly recommend getting a golf cart reservation through the property manager as we had issues when we booked through a third-party company and ended up having to get a golf cart through the property manager at the last minute.The property is easy to get in and out of and very comfortable! "
