"This is a Relais & Chateau, and the staff is as responsive as this expects. Rooms are nice if a bit dated. Pool area is good. Spa has a whirlpool, jacuzzi, and wet & dry saunas available on request but monitored to ensure they’re not too busy. Dining was excellent. I am celiac/gluten-free and staff ensured I was kept safe. "The hotel is listed as being in Sorano. It is not located there. It is located in the village of Sovano, about 10 miles away. We finally found someone that spoke a little English that knew about the hotel but it was in a different village! When we arrived the hotel was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. Fortunately, we met someone that took us to another hotel in the same village."
