"This hotel has all the luxuries one would expect from a chain like Mercure. The building is huge, at times feeling like a set for the film ‘Shining’. It is not for me, simply because it has no soul, no character or style. The fittings are cheap, the vibe a bit large group holidays. Spa is accessible with a 30 euro fee."

"Fantastic hidden gem, great host who helped with everything and went above and beyond. Highly recommend this quaint, well renovated and traditional cozy house. "We enjoyed our 9 day stay at Mulino della Solaia in the small village of Eisa, Tuscany. The house is very well stocked and equipped; we were a group of 4 adults and 6 teenagers and the house was perfect in terms of accommodation and space. Arceno provided several thoughtful gestures such as a generous welcome hamper, a fully stocked bar, board games and a fully prepared meal by a chef in the house one of the evenings by Ceasar and Francesca, which turned out to be one of our favorite meals!As we arrived during a heat wave, we were so thankful for the air conditioning! And with 6 teenagers, having someone come in daily to clean and tidy was a godsend!"
