"Grand Solmar is a beautiful hotel. The architecture is traditional and elegant and blends seamlessly into the rocky cliffside. If you can't afford the Waldorf Astoria, this is a great choice. The ocean front infinity pools have amazing views of crashing turquoise surf. We always found lounge chairs available at the pools and didn't have to get up at 6 am to get one.
