"Lovely old building in quiet location. Unusually, was able to book a single room which helps keep costs down when travelling solo. Although compact, it had everything needed for a stopover and was attractively decorated and spotlessly clean."

"We have had the best stay in Swallow Cottage. It was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean, you can see how much love and attention to detail has gone into it. Gail is the lovliest host and puts in special touches for her guests, we had snacks plus i mentioned our stay was for my husbands birthday and there was a balloon and prosecco waiting. Not to mention every other detail Gail has though about, you could literally turn up with clothes and food everything else was catered for. The photos dont do the rooms justice, much bigger than anticipated and the high ceilings give it a lovely airy feeling. The cottage is blissfully quiet apart from the odd braying from tge neighbours donkeys! We'll definitely we back to stay again.

"It is easy to find and a good car part. From there it just got better. There was a lively welcome as we entered the bar and very efficient check in. The room was very new well looked after. We had dinner in the carvery and then worked on our laptops in the bar afterwards. The bed was very comfortable, strange for a hotel I find, and slept very well. The only downside is the hot water in the shower does take an age to arrive but once it does, there is plenty of it. We will return."
