Cosy and comfortable cottage

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Hayloft - the owner was so kind and helpful to make our stay perfect. We enjoyed the suggested walks from the cottage in the beautiful countryside to Fountains Abbey and we were so lucky with the weather. The delicious treats left in the cottage, the lovely fresh flowers, the fantastic log burner all added to our perfect stay. We will be back."

"Upon arrival we were met by the friendly receptionist who took us to our room and explained everything we needed to know for our stay. The room was modern , comfortable and spotlessly clean . The hotel is ideally placed in the middle of Ripon and free parking was a bonus. We ate in the restaurant and the food and service was excellent . The breakfast in the morning as superb . I would highly recommend this hotel and definitely visit again for a day at Ripon races "

Lovely flat

"We were a bit disappointed that the lift was not working and seemingly has been out of action since the beginning of December. We would not have booked the flat had we known this as we are in our late seventies and my husbands found the stairs a bit of a problem. Although the housekeeper did her best to solve the problem with the heating it remains uncontrollable. Apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the flat once these issues have been resolved. "

"Lovely 2 night stay right in the centre of ripon. Had everything you needed and more to make it a home from home. Beds very comfortable. Lots information about ripon and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend this cottage and I would stay again. "
