"A great property that is beautiful from the outside and lobby/corridors. With small but tidy rooms. Sadly marred by the surly and unfriendly attitude of the reception staff. Who acted like they were too important to be there and made us wait for ages. Then on going down towel under arm not ten minutes later, only found out the pool needed signing in and was now at capacity by overhearing a conversation, after we had clearly said we wanted to use it and not been informed at the time. Was awoken early the next morning by a member of staff hoovering a marble floor (?) and seemingly making as much noise as physically possible. It's a shame as otherwise it's a great place to stay."
