"The bunk room is compact and perfect. We had a wonderful stay with a great shower and cosy bunk beds. Staff at Alf’s downstairs were super lovely. Already planning next visit."

"Positives: car park pass/comfortable bed/powerful shower. Suggestions: have a mirror near a power socket/reserve table at breakfast for guests (if guests give time for breakfast 'slot' table would be available to the public outside these times - we foolishly went down around 10am and would have faced a 30 min wait to be seated. My suggestion - get down by 7am, Alf Fresco is hugely popular with the public (rightly so, geat breakfast) so I was sorry to miss out on it!"

"This place is just wonderful. It is finished to a high standard and is very comfortable and homely. It is situated in a very quiet location and is only 10 minutes from the seaside at Paignton. It is ideally positioned to explore Torbay and the surrounding areas and allows you to escape to the peace and quiet of the countryside at the end of your day. "Clean room, tons of space, friendly staff, great location, no complaints at all. Only area of improvement is the parking situation, both how limited it is (understandable due to the area) and the fact it is chargeable, outside of that an outstanding hotel which we will definitely visit again."
