beautiful views, great breakfast, welcoming hosts

My family of four stayed in this lovely inn at the end of December 2015. We were looking for a place to stay between attending a Manchester United Football game and visiting the English countryside. This location was perfect! It allowed us to stay out of the city in a more relaxed and less commercial inn, so that we could truly get a feel for the area. The staff was very welcoming when we arrived around 9pm that evening. We took advantage of the restaurant one evening and my sons and...

Very good service nothing was too much definitely recommend to others and would stay again

Room was not ready after arriving after check in time. Was given a different room and found it not clean. Got changed to another room and staff was fast to get crib for our child fast.

🙂

Very nice hotel. Clean, friendly staff, Great food at restaurant inside, comfortable beds, short walk to Manchester airport

Clean and well appointed rooms. The staff was incredible, friendly, and wonderfully accommodating. The breakfast was top notch. We've stayed here twice and will certainly stay again when we are in the area.

Great property, reasonably priced, comfortable and clean room. Kitchenette was great and the bathroom was lovely. I found the bed to be incredibly comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great, plenty of choices, and allergens were labeled for all items; separate space for gluten-free items. Laundry room was good, small washers & dryers that were serviceable and free for guests (byo detergent), and much appreciated. Staff were all polite, helpful, and seemed genuinely pleasant. Great location, easy...

Had a little problem with the toilet but the staff said they would be quick to fix it. Other than that our stay was great. The food and service were excellent. Would highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed at the Village Hotel on 2 occasions. I was in town visiting family. The staff was extremely helpful and very friendly. From check in to check out, I also enjoyed the Pub downstairs. The food was delicious and the staff was amazing. There is a pool and gym here, however, I did not use either of those facilities. My family members used the pool and really enjoyed it. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay again while in the UK.

Everything was as it should be. Had to pay £10 for shuttle bus which was unexpected. I didn't have to pay this when I stayed at other similar nearby hotels. Need to take this into consideration when comparing prices.

Room was great and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was worth the expense. You do have to pay for parking, but that's begining to be standard at most airport hotels.
