Hôtel Bien-Être Aux Cyprès de Marquay is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Périgord Noir. The hotel is situated in the beautiful and peaceful village of Marquay, surrounded by the magnificent countryside of the Périgord Noir. It is the perfect location for exploring the region while still offering a wonderfully calm and relaxing place to return to at the end of the day. The property is charming and full of character. We had such a wonderful stay at La Sarlamandre. Our hosts, Stéphy and Séb were so kind and welcoming from the start. The rooms are very clean and feel brand new. Breakfast was delicious with homemade jams and cake. Everything was so perfect and their attention to detail made our stay so comfortable. We really felt at home. We were so sad to leave and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Merci beaucoup!

This place was absolutely wonderful. Clean and comfortable, beautiful surroundings and our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and more helpful. Great breakfast, too. Close to many villages as well as Sarlat, without being in the thick of the city. Would definitely stay there again if I return.

Our room was lovely, spacious, very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly.

The hotel facilities are great, but, the staff is outstanding. All were extremely friendly and helpful. I will surely stay there the next time I am in Sarlat.

Convenient spot with lots of space to relax in the lobby or the 1st floor sunroom

Great hotel as around.

The hotel is located near the center of the old city, many restaurants within 3 minute walk. A free parking lot is 5-7 minute walk, and always had a spot in early October. The staff of Clois and Valentine were terrific.

Beautiful location overlooking Sarlat valley. Peaceful property and exquisite restaurant. Very nice staff and well-maintained hotel. Very quick access to Sarlat town.

Very nice hosts with great food and wonderful breakfast. Fresh-squeezed orange and grapefruit juices, fresh cut fruit salad.

Try the foie gras at the restaurant-fabulous! Breakfasts were delicious as well.

We had a lovely stay. Our room was great and the staff, especially the afternoon reception clerk was wonderful. Not only did she acclimate us to the hotel, she helped carry our bags, and she helped plan the things we did while we were in the area. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant which was super. Highly recommend!

Very clean. Very nice room. Great service mind. Close to downtown.

Beautiful niche hotel in a quiet town in the lovely Perigord region. Centrally located with easy daytime excursions to the various places of interest. Hotel offers everything you need, parking, quiet, excellent restaurant, knowledgeable concierge and a spacious room and bath, even a large balcony. Only downside was that no restaurant in town would open for dinner before 7pm. But when they open, the food is fantastic.

What a great pleasure the hotel was. Came for the Caves but would return just for the hotel.

Great location, short walking distance to Old town Sarlat, very good breakfast, great service. Clean, great appearance

Host was adorable. Our 1 room was tight for 5 adults.
