"Swise Continental Hotel – Marrakech Overall a decent stay, but a few recurring issues made it difficult to fully enjoy our time here. Room Temperature Control The most frustrating issue was the room climate system. While the thermostat is digitally adjustable, the hotel overrides it entirely — shutting the system off roughly from midnight to 6 AM. With my setting at 18.5°C, I was woken up around 3 AM feeling hot and uncomfortable. This happened consistently across all four nights. You're essentially left choosing between a stuffy, overheated room or opening the window and dealing with outside noise. Neither option made for restful sleep, and four nights of poor sleep is a real problem on any trip. Shower Drainage The shower drain was noticeably slow — water pooled up to just below ankle level before draining. Not a dealbreaker, but something maintenance should address."

"The family-owned hotel with everything you may possibly need to make your vacation memorable, and a beautiful vibe. The couple are so friendly, cordial, and personable. It’s located wonderfully: absolutely close to both bus station (in case you are using public transport to/from the town), the Medina, souls, beaches … You cannot beat the cleanliness, the amount of care they provide, and hospitality. I extended my stay and couldn’t think of any other hotel to go before my flight back to London. Thank you so much 💕"

"My bed mattress was so soft that I woke up next day with a very serious back pain. Not good when a week of golf is following your stay at this prestigious hotel. I ask them to correct it , and they did changed the mattress promptly. Nevertheless , such a high rated hotel ( and high cost one) should not accept from their staff a badly used mattress to the point where it is ruined down. Another détail: you flush the toilet, yet it does not eliminate the paper still floating after 2-3 flushes. Hum….."

"Room was ideal, staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast wasn't the best but did the job, hotel makes up for it though in looks and location. "

"The stay at Sofitel Marrakech Palais was excellent- amazing service and rooms. Our stay was unfortunately very short and barely an evening spent. But the beds were very comfortable and shower stalls and toilet all appeared modern and newly renovated."

"The breakfast was great, and the staff did try to be helpful. But it took two phone calls to get the extra bed set up in the room and a further call to get the required number of towels. The bed wasn't all that comfortable and it was in a very noisy area of Marrakesh."

"Overall we were quite disappointed in this hotel. It carries the "Savoy" name but is considerably rough around the edges. One of the four hotel buildings is actually an incomplete building site. The finishings in the rooms are of a quite sub-standard (poor tile grouting, marble still have writing on it from installation, our balcony door would not lock). The hotel also charges too much for some services, given their quality. For example, the evening buffet cost around £25 per head but the food was overall fairly poor. We only ate there as our flight arrived late. Another example is that the hotel charges £20 per person for 1 hour of hot tub use, even if you have purchased spa treatments. Every other spa I have ever been to would include this for free if you had booked treatments. Cocktails are also exorbitant prices. The staff were generally very helpful, but no more so than a normal hotel."
