"This place is a good introduction to old Morocco. While nicely maintained, it has seen its glory days. The staff was quite attentive - the ones who can speak English well. We had dinner at the rooftop. The service was a little slow but the food was okay. Breakfast in our room was more than enough and it was delicious. "

"Overall we were quite disappointed in this hotel. It carries the "Savoy" name but is considerably rough around the edges. One of the four hotel buildings is actually an incomplete building site. The finishings in the rooms are of a quite sub-standard (poor tile grouting, marble still have writing on it from installation, our balcony door would not lock). The hotel also charges too much for some services, given their quality. For example, the evening buffet cost around £25 per head but the food was overall fairly poor. We only ate there as our flight arrived late. Another example is that the hotel charges £20 per person for 1 hour of hot tub use, even if you have purchased spa treatments. Every other spa I have ever been to would include this for free if you had booked treatments. Cocktails are also exorbitant prices. The staff were generally very helpful, but no more so than a normal hotel."

"This riad in the old city is absolutely beautiful, offering a peaceful escape from the bustling energy of Marrakech. The owner went out of their way to contact me from the US, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The property itself was stylish and authentic, making for a truly magical experience. Located right in the heart of Medina (the old town), it’s just a 20-minute walk to Jena’s el-Fnaa, and only a 6-minute walk to College Mohammad V which is a convenient pickup spot for tours and excursions. The Riad staff were very friendly and helpful, and the daily breakfasts were delicious. I highly recommend booking your airport transportation through the Riad; they make the process easy and provide someone to help you with your luggage and guide you to the riad. The streets can be a bit confusing and overwhelming to navigate on your own, so I would definitely recommend this gorgeous property and will definitely be returning in the future."

"We are three women in our 20s who stayed here for four nights. The staff was very very welcoming and respectful. They even served tea and pastries when we checked in and gave us an itinerary for Marrakesh. Although we had a lot of problems from check in to check out. We has problems with our shuttle to the hotel. The driver wasn‘t there and all of a sudden there were two drivers there at the airport. When we tried communicating with the hotel about it over the phone. They just hung up on us. Then when we checked in our room wasn‘t clean. For example the floor was very dirty and sticky. The drain in the shower was broken and we had hairs and stains on the bed sheets. We complained and the staff immediately apologised and said that we can change the room. The new room was fine although the toilet was shaking and felt like it would just fall over if you stand up too fast… And the lights and water weren‘t working for two hours one evening. The breakfast was just not what we imagined. It seemed unhygienic. There was a sick cat throwing up next to our table but the staff didn’t do anything about it. We never came for breakfast again after that morning. At Check Out therer were some mistakes with the bill and they almost overcharged us. So check your bill! Overall we felt safe because the reception is there 24/7 and they were very nice. MAYBE you can’t come to Marrakesh with european hygienic standards and expect the same as in spain and I don‘t mean it in a negative way"
