"The room itself was pleasant and clean. The staff were helpful. The hotel itself is getting dated and in need of a bit of refurbishment. One major issue, no restaurant. No food available at all, no evening meal, no breakfast, even though breakfast was available when I booked. It could be so much more, set in lovely grounds, quite a nice building, but suffering from a lack of attention to decoration. "

"Staff were very friendly, we had our dog and although he was not allowed in the main eating area, the team accommodated an ensured we had breakfast delivered to our room. Breakfast was great and good quality food. Very lovely hotel and great location, definitely recommend "

The hotel itself is not easy to find without the use of a satnav, but being in a quiet location and with the comfy bed a good night’s sleep was guaranteed. "
