The breakfast was really good with a great choice and the breakfast staff were really welcoming and friendly. Also the hotel had good quality pub food at a reasonable cost. We felt to transported to hundreds of years in the past in terms of the architecture and the style of interior furnishings. At the same time, it had all of the service amenities, quality of fixtures and furnishings, food anf service that is expected of a five star hotel. Well worth the price of our stay, we so wish to return."
