"We stayed as a family of 4 (kids both 11), in late July / early August, and it was great. The apartment is spacious, (as was the garden and parking etc), and the balconies both front and back were lovely in the morning and evening as a shelter from the hot sun. Our hosts were lovely, and cleaned the place and provided fresh towels every few days. And we had fresh home grown grapes every few days too. Brilliant. "I had a lovely solo stay at Maria Rousse! It was clean and quiet at the hotel with only a few minutes walk to the Malia strip which leads to Malia beach! All the hotel staff were very pleasant and friendly! It was never any issue getting a sun lounger by the pool! The food at the bar was very tasty especially the Cretan breakfast which I ate most mornings! I also highly recommended the bars cocktails! "
