"Small pool for size of hotel. Cleaning poor in communial areas (e.g. Stair wells) Staines in bathroom and no spa facilities Food very standard and not varied each day (pork every day!!) Good location for dunes and city centre Everything charged in addition e.g. room safe! "

"Good balcony overlooking pool and part ocean view. Very relaxed elegant resort hotel and top notch buffet breakfast. Only suggestion is that smoking in rooms and balconies or pool areas should be banned. Our room filled with tobacco smoke and loud talker at 3 am from insomniac next to us. "

"The hotel was a last minute booking as we’d had to cancel our trip to Dubai. The hotel was good and we were given a pleasant room overlooking the pool. Hotel handily placed for walking the dunes and accessing other areas of the south coast. The restaurant was fine with enormous portions and plenty of choice at breakfast. Had two lunches in house which were not great. Two good pools - one with salt water and heated to around 35 degrees. The clientele were 85% German with quite a lot of elderly and infirm guests so not exactly party town. The bar was comfortable with quality entertainment each night. The gym was disappointing - described as containing state of the art Technogym equipment, but it was tiny and could only really cope with two people at a time. Water dispensers would have been a welcome addition round the pool as would a more disciplined sunbed booking procedure. Maspalomas was very busy during the day but quiet at night - guess it was too early in the season "

"Clean room and quiet at night. The room was facing to southwest with strong sun coming into the room. The room temperature was more than 30 C in early afternoon. THe balcony is great, but it was too hot to sit. The air conditioner of the room was not working to cool the room. Breakfast buffet was wonderful with a variety of choices of bread, fruits, and cheese."

"The room was spotlessly clean. The staff were friendly and professional. The location is perfect, and the food is good. Overall, the hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. We had a lovely stay."
