"We enjoyed the stay at Mimslyn very much! It is walking distance to town if you don’t mind walking up the hill which we did not. The rooms were a bit small and I would recommend removing a piece of furniture or two to give guests a bit more space but the rooms seemed clean. We traveled with an infant and didn’t realize how much we would need a fridge and microwave so that was a bit of a challenge, but the staff was incredibly accommodating with allowing us to store our baby medical items with them. I cannot express enough how wonderful the staff is here. The only thing that would give me pause about staying here again is the lack of a mini fridge, but all in all the staff truly made the experience wonderful."

"We (husband and wife and wife's mom) enjoyed the Rock Tavern (Luray VA) while we toured Shenandoah NP. The place is as pictured. There is one step up into each side of the cabin. Each side has one large king bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There are curtains (not doors) from the bedrooms to the family/main room and kitchen. We enjoyed the back deck under a porch. The back deck also has the hot tub. It was a great vacation place for our touring of the National Park, Luray Caverns, and the VA Civil War Museum. The kitchen was well supplied. The dryer was temporarily out of order. We would recommend this place."

"This was a true gem for us in our travel to Luray VA and Shenandoah National Park. It was easy to find it was convenient yet felt secluded. The fenced yard was a huge plus for as as we were traveling with our dogs. This was a property that was so much better than the pics. We loved it"
