"This house is absolutely spectacular and even better in person than it is in photos! It easily fit our 13 adults with room to spare, and the amenities are incredible. With 2 pools, 2 saunas, a game room, and a gym, our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. In addition, the house manager, Charlotte, was an absolute dream! We took advantage of having the team at L'Artbanne plan our stay and they did a fabulous job. The chef they hired was excellent, and the trips to the champagne houses were perfect. We can't wait to go back!!"

"Just returned from a wonderful stay at Chez Mathilde near Verdun. Annie, our host, was absolutely lovely — so welcoming and friendly, and she even treated us to delicious homemade goodies. The house itself was amazing, full of character with beautiful traditional features and immaculate furnishings throughout. It really felt like a home away from home. The area is fantastic too, with so much history to explore, especially the WWI sites nearby. We’d highly recommend Chez Mathilde to anyone looking for a charming and memorable stay! Thank you Annie "
